Head coach of Holy Trinity High, Devon Anderson, says his team remains focused ahead of tomorrow's game against St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup competition.

Holy Trinity, who reached the semifinals of last year's competition, has moved to the top of Group G with three points after their surprise 2-1 win over Wolmer's Boys on Wednesday. They are followed by defending champions Jamaica College and STATHS on one point each and Wolmer's on zero.

Anderson, whose team have lost out twice at the semifinal stage in the past two seasons, told STAR Sports that his players are highly-motivated.

"I am not overly excited at this time," said Anderson. "However, I will be if we qualify for the next round. Until then it is work as usual."

He added: "Our next task is to prepare for Saturday's match and hopefully we can get three points which will put us into the semifinals."

LOTOF CONFIDENT

Anderson said Wednesday's victory over Wolmer's has given his team a lot of confidence.

"After we beat Wolmer's the vibes were very high in the camp because we worked on a number of things in training and we went out there and we delivered," Anderson said.

"We are planning to reach the semifinals for the third time and progress from there, but we are taking it one game at time and so our focus is on the game on Saturday. We are not going to get complacent or get carried away because we know that we have two games left and anything can happen."
